Going Online and Offline

When you're ready to begin driving, open Mystro and toggle the switch in the top middle of the screen. Mystro will bring both Uber and Lyft online immediately. There's no need to open Uber or Lyft apps first, and we recommend only going on and offline through Mystro.
To stop driving, toggle the switch back off. Mystro will take both services offline.
If there's a problem ("blocker") when taking one of the services online, the service (Uber or Lyft) will say "Action Required". Tap the ↗️ symbol to open up that app. Handle the blocker, take the service online, and return to Mystro.
For your convenience, Mystro automatically handles most common blockers. By using Mystro, you agree that you understand and will comply with all ridesharing service policies. You can disable this for Uber by going to iPhone Settings, tapping "Mystro", then toggling "Clear Uber Blockers".
For your security, Uber occasionally verifies your identity with a selfie. When this happens you can take the selfie directly in Mystro, or tap ↗️ to handle the blocker in Uber.
If you wish to open Uber or Lyft, tap the ↗️ icon from Mystro rather than opening it from the home screen or app switcher. When you open Uber for the first time, it may look like Uber was offline and is only now going online. Rest assured: Uber has been online the whole time, but is just now recognizing it. If you open Uber from the homescreen or app switcher, it may not recognize that it's online. A force quit and restart will cause Uber to realize that it's online.

Driving with Mystro

Once both services are online, we recommend leaving Mystro in the foreground. Accept or decline all trips through Mystro. Mystro does not currently take the other service offline if you accept a ride directly from the Uber or Lyft app.
When a ride offer comes in it will show up on your screen. If your volume is on, you will also hear a voice alert. The offer will be handled one of two ways based on your Filter Settings:
1. If the ride will be auto-accepted, you will see a 5 second countdown timer. You may immediately accept 👍 or reject 👎 the ride using the buttons. When the timer is up, the ride will be accepted automatically.
2. If the ride will not be auto-accepted, you will see a countdown timer until the offer expires (about 30 seconds). You may accept 👍 or reject 👎 the ride using the buttons. When the timer is up, the ride will expire without being accepted.
3. Rides that you decline or allow to expire through Mystro, will count against your acceptance rate in Uber/Lyft, just as they do in the Uber Driver and Lyft Driver apps.
When a ride is accepted (whether manually or automatically), Mystro will take the service offline. If your volume is on, you will also hear a voice alert. Then Mystro will open the appropriate app for you to complete the ride. Once Uber or Lyft opens, it can take up to five seconds for the app to recognize that the ride has been accepted. During this time, it will look like the offer is still ticking down waiting for acceptance. Rest assured: the ride has already been accepted, and the app will show it in a moment (even if the timer appears to expire).
While on a ride, you may receive a stacked ride. If your Filter Settings permit, Mystro will accept the stacked ride automatically even though it's in background.
When you complete a ride and don't have a consecutive ride return to Mystro. Mystro will automatically take the other service back online. We recommend leaving Mystro in the foreground while waiting for another ride.
If you're on a ride and would like to enter last ride mode, switch to Mystro and tap the "Enter Last Ride Mode" button. Mystro will put you in last ride mode with Uber or Lyft, and will not take you back online with either service after you complete the ride.

Filter Settings

You can set filters for each service using the tabs on the main screen.
Currently ride distance is calculated as the straight line distance between start and distance. This will be much shorter than the actual car trip distance. So Mystro might appear to accept trips that are too long when using this filter. (We're working to improve this).

Services

Uber

Mystro supports both Uber passenger rides as well as Uber Eats.
Mystro is currently only able to show Uber ride destinations when the Uber Driver app itself shows the destination ("Upfront Trip Information"). Uber shows this in some cities only for drivers who meet certain criteria.

Lyft

There is a known bug where Mystro's last-ride mode does not always work for Lyft.

Other

Mystro will use dark mode whenever your system is using Dark Mode. You can set Dark Mode to On, Off, or Automatic in iPhone Settings.
Even if you just drive for one app, Mystro can be a big help in automatically filtering offers. Just link the app you use and don't worry about the other.
We're pushing out updates frequently with bug fixes and major improvements. Be sure to keep Mystro up to date. We recommend enabling automatic app updates, but you can also update Mystro manually in the app store.
